2027 Election: APGA Faithful Express Confidence In Victory

Faithful of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, have expressed confidence in the party's chances of winning the Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly elections across Nigeria, particularly in Anambra State, in the 2027 general elections.

They expressed the optimism during the mega campaign flag-off of the party at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, where thousands of party faithful and supporters gathered to show solidarity with the party and its candidates ahead of the elections.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the South East Development Commission, Mr Mark Okoye; immediate past Chief of Protocol to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr Chinedu Nwoye; and an APGA stakeholder, Chief Titus Akpudo, described APGA as a party of the people, which has distinguished itself through service delivery at various levels of leadership, expressing confidence that the 2027 elections would favour the party.

The Mayor of Awka North Local Government Area, Dr ThankGod Anagor, and his Awka South counterpart, Prince Chinedu Okafor, said the massive turnout at the campaign flag-off demonstrated the support APGA enjoys among Ndi Anambra, and expressed confidence that the party would win the three senatorial, eleven House of Representatives and thirty State House of Assembly seats in the elections.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Reformation, Dr Nelson Omenugha, and an APGA stalwart from Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area, Mr Emmanuel Atuegbu-Dangana, said the party would intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections, urging Ndi Anambra to support APGA candidates in Senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly, and to vote for President Bola Tinubu in the presidential election, in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's position, which they said was in the interest of the South East.
